Richard Gimblett, Partner, Holman Fenwick Willan
Richard specialises in aviation, travel law and commercial litigation. He leads the HFW aviation team in Dubai. A past in house legal adviser at the UK Civil Aviation Authority, Richard’s practice includes aviation liability, commercial and regulatory issues. He also has many years’ experience in travel and tourism law.
Richard’s experience includes acting as lead partner in a number of high profile aviation cases in the Middle East and wider region. He has particular experience of Turkey, having worked with THY on a number of cases over the last 20 years. Legal 500 2014 rates Richard in its top tier and singles him out for his “wealth of knowledge”. Chambers 2014 say he is “a very good, serious lawyer”. Richard is also ranked as one of the global top 10 contentious aviation lawyers by The International Who’s Who of Aviation Lawyers 2014 and 2015.
