Michael Wittman
Short Biography
Mike Wittman is a Ph.D. candidate in Air Transportation Systems at MIT. A member of MIT's International Center for Air Transportation, Wittman's research focuses on quantifying the effects of recent macroeconomic events and airline strategies on smaller airports in the United States. His work on small community air service has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, NPR, Forbes, The Economist, Travel Weekly, Bloomberg TV, and other print and radio media. He holds a S.M. in Transportation from MIT and a B.S. in Mathematics & Economics from American University in Washington, DC.
